Hotel Information: A modern atrium lobby features cascading waterfalls and an escalator leading from reception down to the lobby bar and pool level. With dozens of activities and two clubs for children, the Melia Azul caters to families. It also caters to business travelers with a convention center totaling nearly 7,000 square meters (75,000 square feet) and accommodating up to 2450 guests.
Amenity highlights: Family fun is guaranteed with two different activity programs for children. Club 4, for kids 2–5 years old, and Kids Club, for kids 6–12. The pool area includes a mushroom-themed aquatic water park.
Insider tip: This resort is the only hotel with direct access to an 8-km (5-mile) bicycle path that runs through the tourist zone and around La Laguna del Negro, home to a variety of wildlife including crocodiles, turtles, and several bird species.

This all-inclusive resort features 400 spacious rooms located in three towers, all accessible by elevator. Guestrooms are offered in a variety of configurations, some with a balcony. Two floors in each building are non-smoking. Décor is contemporary, with marble tile floors in the rooms and marble vanities in the bathrooms.
